Our Mission
DOGSAVIOR is on a mission to rescue dogs from the dog meat trade — one of the most brutal forms of animal cruelty in the world. We work on the ground in Ghana, Indonesia, and China, pulling survivors from slaughterhouses and markets, providing them with medical care, and flying them to loving homes in Canada & Austria.
These dogs have survived the unimaginable. We make sure their story doesn't end there.
Meet the Founder
Jonny Preston DOG MEAT FIGHTER didn't set out to start a rescue organization. He set out to help — and once he saw what was happening to dogs in the meat trade, he couldn't stop.
After witnessing the brutal slaughter of a Husky in China Jonny jumped into action and rescued dogs from the 2021 CHINESE YULIN DOG MEAT FESTIVAL.
What started as one person's determination has grown into a movement. Jonny's rescue work caught the attention of Newsweek, where a video of a dog meat rescue was viewed over 10 million times — showing the world that people care, and that change is possible.
